When a Cognitive Assessment is paired with an Adaptive Behaviour Assessment, this provides a thorough picture of an individual's cognitive profile, and an understanding of how that individual copes in their day-to-day life. This type of assessment is commonly used when applying for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding where an Intellectual Disability (ID) is suspected, or when applying for additional support in the school environment to aid learning.
Academic Assessment involves assessing an individual to understand how the are performing in areas typically associated with schooling such as reading, writing, mathematics, spelling, and oral language. Academic Assessment can help us to understand an individual's unique learning profile.

When an Academic Assessment is paired with a Cognitive Assessment this provides an overall picture of an individual's performance in various academic areas, which when compared to an Cognitive Assessment helps identify particular areas of academic difficulty, not related to an Intellectual Disability (ID). This provides the basis for learning disability diagnosis.
ADD/ADHD Assessment involves assessing an individual for symptoms typically associated with Attention Deficit Disorder/ Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD).
Depending on age and presentation the assessment process can vary. Assessment tools utilised might include the Young DIVA-5 or the DIVA-5, the BRIEF-A or BRIEF-2, the Vineland-3, the BASC, the CBCL, and/or the CONNERS-3.
